REFLECTIVE INQUIRY PROJECT (due on or before March 1st)
Using the Language
Portfolio as a point de départ, reflect on your journey
to date as a language learner and, more specifically, the impact of your experience
in the FLAGS program. You will consider the course’s guiding principles,
informed by Wilga
Rivers (1994), and reflect on/share those that have been most instrumental
in your learning journey and why. Please provide background as to why you chose
this cohort rather than others, your experiences with French and what you hope/d
to achieve. You will reflect on the experience thus far, for example, the summer
immersion period, starting up at UBC, coursework, conversation class, practicum,
et cetera; and you will consider the pros and cons of the program. THREE PAGES.
